Job Overview  

Iyuno is looking for an experienced Audio Engineer with an understanding of Generative AI tools for voice synthesis and TST dialogue.  This position is based in Burbank while collaborating closely with the AI/DevOps team (overseas).  The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starting individual who can work independently as well as within an established team.  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, is required.   

Duties & Responsibilities  

  • Serve as the US team lead and provide project management and administrative support evaluation of Text-to-Speech and Speech-to-Speech tools 

  • Execute testing of to confirm accuracy, efficiency and overall technical and linguistic quality of emerging tools as directed 

  • Contribute to development of comprehensive testing strategies for generative AI models and systems. 

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and testing methodologies to continuously improve testing practices. 

  • Provide detailed documentation of testing processes, methodologies, and results 

  • Produce language replacement content using approved toolsets 

  • Depending on candidate strengths: Record, Edit, Mix, QC dialogue for lip-sync and VO episodic, feature, and shortform content according to client’s standards 

  • Provide additional technical support as directed by Supervisor/Manager 

 

Education/Experience: 

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Audio Engineering (Recording, Editing, Mixing, and/or QC) 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in localization and dubbing workflows 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Audio Engineering or related field working directly with voice and dialogue 

  • Strong understanding of audio production and post-production workflows and be comfortable working with a variety of technologies 

  • Demonstrate understanding of voice synthesis types including text-to-speech (TTS), speech-to-speech (STS) 

  • Advanced working experience in Avid Pro Tools and control surfaces. 

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • Experience working as part of a software development team 

  • Familiarity with agile, scrum, waterfall project management methodologies and tools in a product development environment 

  • Familiarity with Large Language Model (LLM), Python, JavaScript, Machine Learning  

Salary

  • $40.87/hour-$42.79/hour
