English to Vietnamese Subtitle QC Editor

Role Description

• This role is responsible for ensuring the English-Vietnamese localization assets (including but not limited to subtitle, metadata files) have followed guidelines

• and specifying improvement needed

• This role requires:

• Checking the quality of the assigned assets

• Overseeing training new talents (internal and external)

• Participating in planning and implementing quality improvement to both internal and external talents.

• Consulting to clients, other internal teams when they have linguistic concerns

• Performing other function-related tasks as may be assigned from time to time

• Fluent in both written and spoken Vietnamese and English

• Highly analytical and meticulous

• Able to work under pressure and minimal supervision

• Adaptable with changes to workflows and client expectations

• Able to develop harmonious relationships among teammates for smooth workflows and high-quality deliveries

• Highly self-aware and self-motivated to drive continuous improvement

• Able to manage time and given tasks efficiently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Advertising, Journalism, Education, Linguistics,

• Mass Communications, or its equivalent.

• Preferably with 1-year experience in a related field; fresher is welcomed if you can prove needed qualifications;

• Experience in subtitling is a plus.
