Iyuno Participates In Netflix Korea's "Red Carpet Event With Kids"

Netflix announced that on July 28th, it successfully held its “Red Carpet Event with Kids” at the Community House Masil in Myeong-dong, with over 80 people attending, and Iyuno was proud to participate.

“Red Carpet Event with Kids” provides a customized entertainment experience to enjoy with children 

The event, prepared in time for summer vacation, consisted of various programs that allowed elementary school children and their parents and guardians to experience unique Netflix entertainment both on and off-screen. It featured an animation premiere of “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie,” offered dubbing experiences with Iyuno and ADONE Studio, localization businesses in partnership with Netflix, as well as cooking classes and introductions to various Kids & Family Movies on Netflix and its parental control features. 
Kang Dong-han, the Vice President of Content at Netflix Korea, commented, “As the goal of Netflix is to bring joy through creative content, we are constantly striving to take various aspects into account, from storytelling for children to a safer viewing environment.” He added, “Netflix will continue to create various contents for children to experience, as well as strengthen parental control features for guardians to allow for secure and effortless management.” 
Dr. Oh Eun-young was also present at the event to deliver a lecture on children’s viewing habits. She emphasized the importance of guiding proper viewing habits, commenting, “The parents must show interest in what their children enjoy watching and share the viewing experience to engage in discussions with their children on various topics.” She also highlighted the significance of communication between parents and their children: “Professionally created videos provide accurate information in a manner that children can easily understand. It is more important for the parents to discuss and determine viewing time habits with their children based on the content’s theme and purpose, rather than forcibly attempting to regulate their viewing time and habits.” 
Following this, Jeong Yeo-jin, a coordinator of the Contents Team at Netflix Korea, noted that the three main outstanding qualities of Netflix's Kids & Family content are; the ability to accommodate a child's age and developmental stage, the excellent quality of the content that is suited for educational purposes, as well as the diversity and inclusivity of its content. 
Choi So-jin, Senior Manager of the Policy Team at Netflix Korea, also introduced the parental control features that support a safe and family-friendly streaming experience. Netflix allows users to create separate profiles for kids and enable profile-specific maturity rating settings, ensuring that only age-appropriate content is displayed on the profile. Additionally, users can block specific series or titles on separate profiles, and a profile lock feature is also available to prevent children from accessing other profiles or creating new ones. Furthermore, users can also disable the autoplay function for kids who have difficulty regulating their viewing time.
