Iyuno, media and entertainment’s leading global localization provider, is proud to announce that its Chief Client Officer, Stella Yoo, has been nominated for the 2023 Hedy Lamarr Award by The Digital Entertainment Group (DEG).

The award recognizes outstanding female executives who have made significant contributions to the entertainment industry through their impact in technology. Stella is among an esteemed list of nominees from major industry players such as Crunchyroll, Google, Paramount Streaming, and Warner Bros. Discovery.

The seventh annual Hedy Lamarr Award honors exceptional women who have demonstrated innovation, leadership and excellence in their careers. The award's distinguished judging panel consists of prominent leaders from various fields, including motion picture, television, music, IT and consumer electronics. The winner will be announced at an in-person ceremony to be held in November.

As Iyuno's Chief Client Officer, Stella leads the company's global client operations teams and drives growth initiatives. She has made substantial contributions to the content localization niche of the entertainment sector, addressing the growing demand for faster turnaround on localized content supported by cutting-edge technology.

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Stella has been an integral part of Iyuno's growth from a small, Korea-based subtitling start-up to a global company with AI-driven localization and operations across 34 countries. Her dedication to localization and passion for bringing cultures together are reflected in her leadership style, which focuses on finding and developing people's talent, passion, career and dreams.

"We are thrilled that Stella's significant contributions to the industry have been recognized with this well-deserved nomination," said David Lee, CEO of Iyuno. "Stella's innovative and creative leadership has been instrumental in driving Iyuno's growth, and we are proud to have her on our executive team. We congratulate all the nominees and look forward to the announcement of the winner this summer."
