Empowering Emerging Voices: Iyuno Hosts Indigo Voices Workshop

Iyuno’s global headquarters in Burbank recently hosted the Indigo Voices Workshop, an immersive, hands-on training experience designed to nurture and empower the next generation of voice talent. 

The workshop was co-led by Portia Scott, Director of Voiceover at Coast to Coast Talent Group, and Melique Berger, a seasoned voice actor with credits including Pokémon Horizons and Rick and Morty. Together, the two brought decades of industry experience and a shared passion for mentorship into the studio. Scott, a pioneer in the voiceover space, represents top talent featured in Into the Spider-Verse, Frozen, and Toy Story 4, while Berger offered practical coaching drawn from her own success behind the mic. 

Adding even more depth to the session, Sara Jane Sherman, the acclaimed casting director behind Scooby-Doo!, The Cuphead Show, and Rick and Morty, joined as a guest speaker to provide one-on-one feedback and insight in an intimate ADR studio setting. 

The educational workshop provided a distinctive opportunity for voice actors: immersive, hands-on experience with leading industry professionals, made even more impactful by Iyuno’s state-of-the-art ADR stages and creative environment. Participants were able to hone their skills in a world-class recording facility, pushing their artistic boundaries while simultaneously growing their network of collaborators.
