Iyuno’s James Han, X Product Director, Honored with DEG Rising Star Award

On October 7th, the DEG honored Iyuno’s James Han, X Product Director, as a member of their 2025 Rising Star Class at the 5th annual EnTech Awards. Per the DEG’s official website, this award honors individuals who demonstrate excellence and perform well above their experience level. 

Han was submitted due to his outstanding contributions to Iyuno’s latest AI-powered subtitling tool, Sub.X, which debuted at IBC Amsterdam 2025 

“Iyuno has always been about helping stories reach global audiences with the highest quality experience,” said Han, “With Sub.X, we’re showing that AI can finally deliver industry-leading subtitles today — not just experiments, but technology that truly works.” 

The EnTech awards are held annually and were founded to “honor exceptional technology accomplishments in the digital supply chain”. Awards were distributed across 9 categories including Emerging Technologies and Technology Leadership. Judging was conducted based on several factors, including key industry contributions, technological achievement, and operations functions. 

Due to scheduling issues, Han was unable to personally accept the award, which was accepted on Han’s behalf by Iyuno’s Olivier Christmann, Vice President, Account Management. Han was one of five Rising Star honorees at this year’s ceremony, hosted by Amazon at the Culver Theater in Culver City, California.
