This week, Iyuno rolled out the red carpet for the DEG Canon Club’s Spring Leadership Salon & Mentoring Mixer, an industry event dedicated to cultivating community for women in entertainment and technology.
The salon was held in Iyuno’s Dolby Atmos Theatrical Mix Stage, giving visitors a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most advanced mixing stages in the country.
Headlining the event was Vizio’s Katherine Pond, Group Vice President, Platform Content and Partnerships, who shared her wisdom and pursuit of excellence to a captivated audience. Pond was joined by Iyuno’s Chief Revenue Officer, Nicky McBride, for an inspiring discussion that covered everything from executive leadership strategies to authenticity in the workplace.
Meri Hassouni, Chief Revenue Officer at Giant Worldwide and Co-Chair of the Canon Club, opened the salon with a nod to the group’s mission to be “a place where women at all levels and in all sectors of our business are welcome to share knowledge and build their business networks.”
The salon was followed by a lively mixer where attendees mingled over drinks and appetizers, strengthening connections and forging new relationships fueled by a shared passion for media.
"The event was both inspiring and thought-provoking in the best way — it challenged all of us to think more deeply about how we lead, how we support others, and how we keep evolving," said Nicky McBride. "It was meaningful to help host a conversation that brought together a wide range of voices from across our industry."
