Your Role:

As the Finance Controller, you will report directly to the Regional Finance Director CEE and be responsible for all financial reporting and analysis related to our operations in Hungary as well as working closely with Country Director in Hungary.

This is a high-profile controlling role that offers a comprehensive overview of the business and the chance to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis: Interpret, report, and communicate financial results, comparing them against forecasts and budgets on a monthly basis. Prepare comprehensive management packs to present key insights to stakeholders.

Business Performance: Collaborate with the Country Manager to enhance business performance and support strategic decision-making.

Budgeting: Play a vital role in the annual budgeting process, contributing to the development of financial plans and targets.

Sales and Costs Reporting: Prepare monthly sales and costs reports to gain valuable insights into financial performance.

Payroll Approval: Participate in the payroll approval process to ensure accurate and timely compensation for our team.

Month Close Activities: Oversee the month-end closing activities, including the preparation of WIP, accruals, and prepayment calculations. Reconciliation of the group reporting and local reporting accounts. Working Capital Management: Take control of working capital elements such as accounts receivables, unbilled projects, and work in progress to optimize financial efficiency.

External Accounting Partner: Collaborate closely with our external accounting service provider, ensuring a seamless month-close process and accurate accounting.

Process Improvement: Constantly seek opportunities to enhance internal financial processes and implement best practices for stronger financial control.

IT Implementations: Support future IT implementations in the finance domain to streamline operations and enhance data accuracy.

Tax Provisions and Reporting: Calculate tax provisions quarterly and prepare tax reporting as needed.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Regional Shared Service Centre in Warsaw and Regional Finance Director CEE and other key finance team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CMA, CPA) is a plus but not required.

Proven experience as a Finance Analyst / Controller or in a similar financial leadership role.

In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Person Specification:

To excel in the role of Finance Controller - Hungary at Iyuno, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced finance professional who possesses the following skills and qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in finance accounting and reporting or audit roles, with a proven track record in corporate reporting. Candidates with Big4 experience will be given special consideration.

Technical Expertise: Possess very good knowledge of MS Excel, including file consolidation, Pivot Tables, and excel formulas. Experience with ERP systems, particularly Navision, would be advantageous.

Language Skills: Fluent English is a must, both written and oral, as the role involves regular communication with international colleagues and stakeholders.

Education: A university degree in Accountancy or Finance is preferred, providing a strong foundation for financial acumen.

Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner, with sharp analytical skills to derive meaningful insights.

Self-Motivated: A self-driven individual who can work independently, taking ownership of tasks and delivering results under tight deadlines.
