Audio Engineer is responsible for conducting dubbing sessions, mixing and combining dubbing recorded files (recorded voice, music, effect, etc.).
Ensure premix files are received accordingly.
Conduct and record the dubbing session with voice talents.
Feedback on dubbing aspects needed to improve mixing and output standards.
Full-mix dubbed programs assigned and seen to completion.
Coordinate with Senior Audio Engineer/Project Coordinator/Dubbing Script Editor.
Provide support in composing or arranging music when required.
Any other tasks which are deemed important in ensuring required standards for the dubbing program.
Capabilities and Skills
Knowledge of post audio mixing.
Experience with Mac environment, ProTools audio software and hardware, including peripheral equipment as compressors, microphones, AD Converters
Understanding of audio and session formats and specifications (.wav, .mp3, .ptf, .omf,…)
General knowledge of audio engineering and studio recording techniques
Ability to perform quality audio recordings for both low and high-end dubbing projects.
Ability to identify and solve technical problems with equipment when possible
Friendly manner with clients, voice talents and colleagues
Excellent organization and time management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Extremely detail-oriented
Ability to work in shifts and overtime
Able to adapt and compose original lyrics.
Key Performance Indicators and Metrics
Premixing of 45 to 60 minutes of program duration a day
or 2.0 mixing of 40 to 45 minutes of program duration a day
or Recording of 60 minutes of program duration a day
