Iyuno Thailand, Bangkok Mixing Team is currently opening recruitment for Freelance Quality Control (QC) Engineer and Freelance Mixing Engineer.

Conditions:

• This is a work from office position.

• Applicants must be Thai or Thai residents with Thai Identity Card and Tax Identification Number.

• Payment is made via wire within 30 days of receiving the original invoice (non-negotiable).

1. Freelance Quality Control (QC) Engineer

Scope of Work & Responsibilities:

• Maintain the quality control of mix(ed) audio, meticulously identifying and reporting any errors found (e.g., sync issues, audio artifacts, missing elements).

• Thoroughly understand and apply all client-specific technical and creative specifications.

• Clearly and effectively communicate issues, concerns, and feedback to the senior engineer and project coordinators, prioritizing based on severity.

Capabilities and Skills:

• Proficient with AVID Pro Tools and other digital audio workstations (DAW).

• Relevant education or proven experience within the audio post-production industry or a similar line of work.

• Experienced in various dubbing workflows across different types of projects (e.g., series, films, animation).

• Special consideration will be given to candidates who possess knowledge of 5.1 surround sound workflows.

2. Freelance Mixing Engineer

Scope of Work & Responsibilities:

• Perform the final mix by skillfully blending dubbed dialogue, music, and sound effects (M&E) provided.

• Creatively apply audio effects (e.g., reverb, EQ, compression) to match on-screen environments and align with the creative direction of the project.

• Ensure the final mix adheres to strict technical specifications, particularly loudness standards (e.g., specified LUFS targets).

• Maintain organized and efficient Pro Tools sessions for seamless collaboration and review.

• Work closely with the lead mixer and project coordinators to implement feedback and revisions in a timely manner.

Capabilities and Skills:

• Proficient with AVID Pro Tools, including a strong command of audio plugins and signal routing.

• Demonstrated experience in audio mixing for dubbed content.

• Relevant education or proven experience within the audio post-production industry.

• Experienced in various dubbing workflows across different types of projects.

• Special consideration will be given to candidates who possess knowledge of 5.1 surround sound workflows.
