Job purpose:
Senior Financial Analyst main area of responsibilities is the control over the reporting of all EU entities. This involves control of the process as well as data being reported by EU units, by gathering the reporting, preparing all necessary checks and consolidating the data into designed reports.
Role will also cover support in implementing the new accounting policies and reporting procedures across the European teams.
Reporting line is to Senior Finance Manager – FSSC in Warsaw.
Responsibilities:
Cooperation with US corporate team and EU Management in terms of group reporting needs.
Coordination of the monthly reporting for all EU entities.
Defining reporting process and deadlines, assuring proper communication between US Corporate team and all local finance teams.
Support in implementing new reporting needs across the Europe and drafting new policies, unification of reporting templates across EU.
Initial control of the reported numbers - high level review on comments provided by local finance teams. Defining forms of communication and comments provided for the monthly results.
Support of the audit process on the group level - coordination of efforts.
Support of the implementation of policies across EU entities (translation of requirements from corporate team and unification of the reporting).
Close cooperation Senior Finance Manager, VP Finance Europe and FPA Team.
Control over consolidation process and consolidation DB including cross check against US consolidation database.
Preparing various ad hoc reports based on the data reported by European entities.
Work towards reporting improvements with use of new reporting tools like power BI and power query reporting.
Person Specifications:
Qualified accountant with 3 years+ as financial analyst or other finance reporting function
Experience in reporting and consolidation process, analytical understanding of P&L/Balance Sheet/Cash Flow, working with multiple currencies.
Experience in international group, reporting results through to central team.
IFRS experience preferable but not essential.
Experiences in system and process changes.
Experience in Policy documentation preparation and company-wide delivery.
Experience and attitude to manage projects to completion.
Capable of providing finance partner support, ad hoc analysis and projects.
Very good knowledge of MS Excel: file consolidation, Pivot Tables, excel formulas, knowledge of ERP systems (Navision would be an advantage).
Effective communicator to multiple stakeholders (including colleagues outside of the finance function).
Self-motivated, open-minded with positive attitude, proactive.
Able to work towards strict and agreed deadlines.
Fluent in English, both written and oral.
